Ayr's own Midge recently secured her AMTRA gold award, the high percentage of McCaskie team members who already have AMTRA qualifications. AMTRA is an independent regulatory body whose task is to ensure that the prescription and supply of VPS animal medicines in the UK is undertaken in a responsible manner by AMTRA-qualified persons. As a business who works closely with animal medicines, we are dedicated to not only the health and wellbeing of your animals, but to providing the best advice to all our shop and agriculture customers. On receiving her gold award Midge said "I am pleased to have achieved my gold award as I enjoy studying and increasing my knowledge."
Midge is in the spotlight at the moment as she shaving her head on the 22nd August, her 50th birthday, for the Ayrshire Hospice. This is specifically to fundraise for the hospice in memory of her brother-in-law Alex Matthews who died there at the age of 42. The hospice provides outstanding quality care and service to people with any life limiting illness and their families and everyone at McCaskie is behind Midge in her effort to raise awarness of the good work they do.
