SQP / Animal Health Advisor – Suitably Qualified Person (Kinross, Fife)

McCaskie is recruiting an SQP (Suitably Qualified Person) to join the team at our Country Store in Kinross. We're a family-run agricultural business trusted across Scotland since 1957, and our stores are a vital resource for farmers and animal owners in the local community.

As an SQP (also known as an animal health advisor), you'll advise customers on animal health products, prescribe and supply licensed veterinary medicines, and deliver the knowledgeable, friendly service our customers rely on. It's a rewarding role for someone who enjoys combining animal health expertise with great face-to-face service.

What you'll do

Advise farmers and animal owners on animal health products

Prescribe and supply licensed veterinary medicines in line with AMTRA regulations

Deliver friendly, knowledgeable service in store

Support the day-to-day running of the Kinross Country Store

What we're looking for

An AMTRA SQP qualification — or the willingness to train towards it

Solid animal health and farming knowledge

A customer-focused, approachable manner

Reliability and a genuine interest in the rural community
