Delivering Farming Infrastructure
Robotic milking, cooling, slurry, ventilation, handling and feeding — complete systems designed, supplied, installed and serviced by our own engineers, from Stirling, across the whole of Scotland.
The Hardware Is the Easy Part
The manufacturer provides the hardware. We provide the context — your shed, your herd, your labour, your layout.
We do not build the machine. What we design is the system it goes into: concept, blueprint, installation, testing, then servicing for as long as you have it. That is five stages, and only one of them is the day the lorry arrives.
It is also why the answer is sometimes no. Not every farm is ready for robotic milking, and not every farm needs to be — if a well-planned conventional parlour is the right answer for you, that is what we will tell you. Read Beyond the Machine, or ask for a hard copy.
Ten Jobs, One Engineering Team
Ten areas of the farm, and every one of them designed around your building rather than picked off a list.
Milking and Milk

Robotic Milking
The leading Fullwood dealer in Scotland — more than ten years with Fullwood and more than 90 Merlin robots installed. The system designed around your shed, fitted and serviced by our own engineers.

Milking Parlours
Pearson parlours, built to the shed you have — and the honest answer if a well-planned parlour suits you better than a robot.
Milking parlours
Cooling & Storage
Cooling equipment for rapid temperature pull-down, plus bulk milk tanks and silos — with technicians on hand for supply, installation and service.
Cooling & storage
Teat Preparation
A teat scrubber washes, disinfects, stimulates and dries in one pass, so every cow gets the same prep whoever is in the pit.

Slurry Management
JOZ manure robots for every floor type — Barn-E for closed floors, JOZ Tech for the rest. High capacity on both, so the floor stays clean.

Ventilation
Pneumonia in housed cattle is usually an air problem before it is a bug problem. We survey the shed and fit what it needs — fans, tube systems and controls.
Shed ventilation
Weather Protection
Galebreaker curtains, doors and sheeting, to keep the weather out without shutting the air off. Plenty of sheds want this and ventilation both.
Weather protectionRound the Yard
Equipment & Handling
Ironwork made to suit the yard and installed on farm — pens, races and gates built to the measurements of the building you have.

Feeding Equipment
In-parlour and out-of-parlour feeding, the system designed around the building, supplied, installed and looked after afterwards — Fullwood, Trioliet and others.

Sanitation
Deosan udder hygiene, cleaning agents and disinfectants for the parlour, from Solenis — supplied alongside the plant we fit and service.
Dairy hygieneFarm Energy for Dairy Farms
On-farm renewables, battery storage, microgrids, EV charging and smarter tariffs, built around when your farm actually uses power.
Our own engineers do not fit these systems: independent energy consultants Beyond Innovation design them, and specialist microgrid engineers PH Energy Systems install them. Ask through us and the first consultation is free.
Installed by Us, Serviced by Us
Eight engineers based at Springkerse in Stirling, covering the whole of Scotland, on call 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The same people who designed and fitted your system are the ones who answer at four in the morning, which is the whole point of buying it from a merchant with its own engineering department.
Questions We Are Asked Most
Who installs robotic milking systems in Scotland?
As the leading Fullwood dealer in Scotland, McCaskie installs Fullwood robots across the country. Eight engineers in Stirling design the system, install it, commission it and service it afterwards, for every Merlin we have put in, whatever the model. More than ten years with Fullwood, and more than 90 Merlin robots installed.
Which milking systems do you service?
Two: Fullwood robots and Pearson conventional parlours. Those are the systems our engineers know inside out, and we do not take on other makes — if you run a different robot or parlour we would rather say so now than send somebody to learn on your farm. Everything else we supply, from cooling and slurry to ventilation and feeding, we install and service ourselves.
Is there an out-of-hours call-out?
Yes, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Ring Stirling on 01786 474 481; outside business hours the call is forwarded to the technician on call. How call-out works.
What areas do your engineers cover?
The whole of Scotland, from the engineering base at Springkerse in Stirling. Eight engineers, on call 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Do you only do dairy?
No. Ventilation, weather protection, handling ironwork and feeding equipment go into beef and sheep buildings as often as dairy ones. The milking side is dairy; the building side is not.
Can you work on a building that is already full of stock?
Usually, yes, and most installations are in working buildings. We will tell you straight if a job needs the shed cleared or a quiet window.
