McCaskie Stirling: Farm Supplies, Animal Health and Engineering at Springkerse
McCaskie Stirling is one of four McCaskie country stores in Scotland, stocking animal health, livestock nutrition, fencing, workwear, pet and equestrian supplies for farmers and rural customers across Stirlingshire, the Forth valley, Clackmannanshire and south Perthshire.
4 Munro Road is in the Springkerse Industrial Estate, on the eastern side of Stirling off the A91. We are open 8am–5pm Monday to Friday and 9am–1pm on Saturday, and there are SQPs in store who can supply and advise on licensed animal medicines.
McCaskie has been supplying Scotland's farmers since 1957 and the business is still family-run. The Stirling store serves the town and the country around it — Dunblane, Bridge of Allan, Doune, Callander, Alloa and the Carse farms — along with the horse owners, smallholders and dog owners in between. If you would rather not make the trip, hundreds of products are available at mccaskie.store.

Rugs & tackStock varies between the four stores. If you want to be certain something is on the shelf before you set off, phone the Stirling store on 01786 474 481 and we will check.
There Are SQPs in the Stirling Store
Most livestock wormers, flukicides and a good deal of the rest of the animal health shelf are POM-VPS medicines. By law they can only be supplied by a vet, a pharmacist, or a Suitably Qualified Person — an SQP, registered and examined through AMTRA and required to keep that registration current.
That is why the conversation at the counter is not a formality. An SQP has to know something about the animals before supplying: the species, the weights, what you used last time and when, and whether it is working. It is the same information that stops you paying for a product that will not do the job.
We do not publish dosing rates or treatment intervals on this website, and we would rather you did not work them out from a table. Bring the weights and the history to the counter, or phone ahead, and an SQP will take it from there.

Questions About the Stirling Store
What time does McCaskie Stirling open?
The Stirling store is open 8am–5pm Monday to Friday and 9am–1pm on Saturday. We are closed on Sunday. Bank holiday hours can differ, so phone 01786 474 481 if you are travelling a distance.
Where is the McCaskie store in Stirling?
4 Munro Road is in the Springkerse Industrial Estate, on the eastern side of Stirling off the A91. The full address is 4 Munro Road, Springkerse Industrial Estate, Stirling, Scotland, FK7 7UU.
Can I buy cattle and sheep wormers at the Stirling store?
Yes. There are SQPs in store who can supply licensed animal medicines, including wormers and flukicides. An SQP will ask about the animals, their weights and what you have used before — that is a legal requirement for POM-VPS products and it is also how you avoid buying the wrong thing.
Do I need a farm account to shop at Stirling?
No. The store is open to everyone and you can pay by card at the counter, so you do not need a farm account to buy from us.
If you would rather run an account, ask in store for an application form. You fill that in along with a direct debit mandate and give two references. Once the application has been processed and the references checked, a decision is made and we let you know.
Can you put something by for me?
Yes. Phone the Stirling store on 01786 474 481 and we will set it aside for you to collect. Worth doing if you are travelling a distance or you need it on a particular day — it saves arriving to find the last one went out an hour ago.
Does the Stirling store sell pet food and workwear as well as farm supplies?
Yes. As well as the farm ranges we carry dog and cat food and healthcare, small animal and poultry feed, wild bird seed and feeders, equestrian supplies, and workwear and footwear for men, women and children.
Can you deliver from the Stirling store?
Larger loads only from Stirling. Pallets and machinery are delivered anywhere across our service area, provided our 18-tonne lorry can get on to the site. A delivery charge may apply. Stirling does not run a local delivery round for smaller orders — for those, phone the store and we will set them aside for you to collect.
Phone Stirling on 01786 474 481 to arrange it, and say if there is anything awkward about the access — a tight entrance, a soft track, a low branch — so we send a vehicle that can get in.
This is separate from the online shop. Anything ordered on mccaskie.store is sent out by Royal Mail courier, not on our own lorry.
Is there parking for a pickup and trailer at Stirling?
Yes. There is ample parking, with room to turn and leave a pickup and trailer. For anything heavy or bulky you can drive round to the warehouse shutter and load there — speak to the staff at the counter in store first and they will have your order brought out to you.
