Field Service Engineer – Scotland (Stirling-based)
McCaskie is hiring a Field Service Engineer to join our agricultural engineering team. We're a family-run business serving farms across Scotland since 1957, and our engineers keep dairy and livestock farms running every day.
In this hands-on role you'll install, service and repair farm equipment on site — milking parlours, milk cooling tanks, feeding systems and ventilation — across the Central Belt and beyond. No two days are the same, and the problem-solving is real. You’ll cover farms right across Stirling, Falkirk, Perth, Fife and Lanarkshire.
What you'll do
Install, service and repair dairy and livestock equipment on farm
Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults and put them right
Carry out planned maintenance and respond to call-outs
Build trusted relationships with farmers across your patch
What we're looking for
A mechanical, electrical or agricultural engineering background
A full UK driving licence
A practical, self-motivated approach and a willingness to learn
Comfortable working independently out on farm
